Has anyone had any experience with this hatchery? Specifically the broilers.

I am interested in thier Rosambro chickens, but I have not ordered any yet, I have to have a surgery and recover from that and then let it warm up some.

    Farmboy238,

Yes, we got a batch of 51 last year and split them with someone else. Out of 26, 22 survived until butcher day. One died, frustratingly, the night before!

George seems like a very likable (and talkative) guy. I would order from him again.

What do they charge per chick with a 100 chick order?

Not sure how close you are to them, but there is another hatchery up by Johstown.

We ordered 25 Rosambros this year. One died. They were hearty and friendly birds. They got about as big as our cornish x did last year, although they did take 2 weeks longer. George was very helpful and friendly.

Can you give us an idea of what they charge per chick and what the shipping charges were like?
