I received my chicks from Mt. Healthy Hatchery today and was really pleased with the birds I got from them. I had ordered an assortment as they where for a local feedstore for Easter chicks but was pleasantly surprised at the birds. I got Black Giants, Partridge Cochins, White Rocks and New Hampshire Reds. This was my first order from this hatchery but really like the birds as well as the customer service they have. Super nice people to deal with.

Oh, they are all so sweet! I love the full boxes, lol! When I saw the full box of JG's, the empty feed bags ran through my head [IMG] If my Brahmas pig out, I'm guessing the Giants do too [IMG] They all look like such healthy, stout little chicks though. Nice colors [IMG]

suenrob, I got 106 of them. All where alive and healthy when they got here and are all still doing great.

BrhamaMama, Thanks yeah I like the full boxes also but like you say those empty feed bags [IMG] and yes the Giants do like to eat for sure. But I don't think they can be any worse than these big ole Orps I've got here. [IMG]
