Hello and thank you all for your help. I just bought this rooster from a farm that had a mixed flock. I think he is beautiful and looks most like an Ameraucana or EE to me. What do you think? I plan to hatch eggs that he fertilizes from an Olive Egger that is black with green irridescent feathers that was a cross between BCM and EE. They are a handsome pair! I am trying to figure out if I will have the double tuft 25% loss. So..
Is this rooster tufted? What breed do you guess he may be? Do you foresee any other problems? If they are both tufted, is candling at the usually recommended times sufficient?
