mullard ducks?

Hey peeps have a question for yall i have a duck that was sold to me as a muscovy duck drake im fairly sure he is a white muscovy duck with a black cap but i looked up images for mullard or moullard ducks and he looks simular to them to white duck little caruncles and a black cap so just wondering how do i tell what he is?
