muscovies loosing feathers

    it seems that my muscovies are loosing feathers. I don't see any missing feathers on them but my run is full of their feathers. when I got them my drake had more black feathers then now and 1 female had almost black head and now she has got white head with just 1 black spot.

    they free range and eat bugs, worms as well as boiled eggs.

    they are young, might be about 4-5 months old. at what age do they molt?

    any idea what that might be?

    only 1 hen has kept black feathers on her head

    They are switching out feathers. I forget what they are called but nothing to be worried about. Beautiful scovies btw :).
