muscovy - am i black or brown?

to be honest i cant remember, we had over 100 ducklings born here during the summer

Yeah I know the feeling, i've got about 200 ducks atm, most young bred this season, Will be interesting to see if she moults out darker.

i've looked at this photo a few times, it looks like blacks ducks do when they are due to moult and the sun has faded the colouring. rosecomb-ryan would know better than me with blacks but i would have guessed a dark sepia, although looking again at the photo you cant see the bill colour. good to see interesting colours let us know how she turns out.
