Do muscovies need a coop to sleep in? Mine are currently sleeping on the porch (where I can hear and see them) and they seem to be doing just fine. Do they even need a coop or can they roost outside?

As long as it's predator proof.

  3. As long as your really sure a Fox or something else wont get them at night or even during the day for that matter?
I rescued two Ducks this summer that the lady thought they would be fine in her yard without shelter or pens...Out of 25 birds she only had 7 left, two I took in...

it just takes one hostile night of a predator finding them and you'll wish you had done something before hand.

If something does happen, let it be by some accident or very determined predator, not by owner error.
