My rescue Muscovy drake which is about a year old has recently become super ugly. Just honest here. His feathers went black to brown, and they’re falling off at an insane rate. He seems fine, he drinks and eats and is aggressive as usual.
His bottom feathers are still nice and black.
He has a bad case of angel wings, and it’s like he’s left white th just bone dry feathers. I’ve given him BOSS , I’m giving him extra mealworms and I’ve changed out his water more often that before. (Does not look like wet feathers, it’s just brown falling off feathers!)
Please if anyone is out there that can help, please please help!

My muscovy are molting too currently. They are trading out their faded old feathers for new brightly coloured ones. After they are done they will look like new birds.

Okay thank you! I was so worried. There’s a lack of information on male Muscovy drakes and their molting.
