How long does it usually take for them to start zipping?

I dont know about muscovy eggs but it seemed to take forever for my little ducks to hatch!! Pipped...then waiting and waiting, until all at once they were out.
I think the fact that you got them this far is great, one always hears about how difficult they are to incubate.

Here's hoping they hatch all of the way!!!

I have waited 48 hours once from when I saw the first crack in the egg til when they started to unzip. Usually its an average of 24 hours. But some are faster...I like those ones better....not so much nail bitting while I wait hovering over the bator to see the little ones finally hatch.

I am worried about them drying in the egg..the humidity is 75%...just nothing else going on lol...I did candle to check to see if they were ok...they are both moving inside the egg and it has been a lil over 24 hrs...

I have heard it can take up to 48 hours? One thing I did that kept the membranes somewhat moist was wet a paper towel and put it close to the egg....

Thanks! i know the rule of incubating...tempting to open it tho!! LOL So darn cute!
