Does anyone have a picture of a muscovy's foot pad? 2 days ago my drake started limping. He is the only drake. I inspected his whole leg and joints. He is fine eating, drinking and chatting with his girls but he is just limping. I do notice that his foot pads are a little leathery with small spikes. It looks like callus but i might be wrong could be bumblefoot. I took a picture but can someone post it for me, I can email it. There are no predators, his pen is fort knoxx. The affected leg is also warmer. anything helpsn

Hi Foweled-out try using some heel balm for the cracks on his feet for a few days and get him into some water that should help you need to soften the bottom of his feet i have had it a few times in my mammoth muscovys here is a photo of a drakes foot that i am helping at the moment the ball was twice the size. hope this helps.regards mick:) [IMG]
