I sure do appreciate everybody in this group. I swear I have an issue every few days. So we had 9 Muscovy babies, 2 hens, 7 drakes. The first little girl got trampled and we found her dead. The 2nd little girl, I found this morning with all her back feathers missing. Some on her neck and wings are missing too. So I brought her back in the house bc it's too cold for no feathers. I was checking her over and she has holes in her feet. Ive never seen this before. I don't know what it's from, I don't know what to do for her. I just want her better. I'll try to send pics.
Ps she said sorry for the poop but she figured y'all were all used to it. 🤷🏻‍♀️🦆😘

I can also hear her breathing...like a crackly kinda sound. Theyve had a heat lamp and their mom with em the whole time. They r a little over 2 months old now and been outside for about 2 weeks maybe. I also have no poultry vets in the area, and was took out of work for mental health, so no money either. I do have some of that vet rx stuff though.

Vet rx is just Vicks for chickens, I'm not sure if can be used on ducks.
I don't know about the feathers but the holes in the feet could be from ammonia burns, how big is their area and how often is it cleaned?

@ducklover128 I think your little girl needs to come into your house, be cleaned up and kept wam and calm while you assess the living conditions (vis a vis ammonia burns) and then check out her relationip with mama. Has she been rejacted and left to the mercies of all those boys?

She is inside, and she's warm and toasty now. Is ammonia burns what caused that to her feet? The mom, I thought, has been real attentive to all the babies. Thank u. This is my first time being a duck grandma.

They were in the bathtub until we got them a run built. And I cleaned them out everyday, sometimes twice a day. They just got in the run, and I put hay in there for them. I went and got some pine shavings a couple days ago, and I just noticed today the feathers missing and her little feet.
