Muscovy lost and found after 4 days

I just started having chickens and few ducks in my backyard. 4 days ago my 6 month old Muscovy was gone. Could not find it. Today it just came back. Is this normal? Should I clip their wings? It's the white one on the right.

Are there other ducks in the neighborhood she could be going to? Pond or something that would be attractive to a duck? Do you know if she has been laying? Could she have had a nest somewhere? If something destroyed the nest she will probably stay around, if she has a hidden nest she should leave again pretty soon. If you want to keep them, you need to either contain them or clip their wings so they can't get over your fences.

Thanks kelsie. I don't think there are any other ducks nearby. Nor ponds. She maybe laying but I have no idea where she might be. We really thought we lost her to something and were preparing to find a home for the left behind male duck but I'm glad we waited. I guess we have to clip their wings so they stay here with us.
