I just put my baby muscovies on the scale this morning, to checktheir progress. They are all 3lbs 13oz to 3lbs14oz. they are born 4/27. now purely by weight what would you think they are. I cant tell by size since i have nothing to compare them to. girls or boys? They dont show any caruncles yet.

They don't get that red face mask thing until they are older. I could only tell mine when they feathered out and it was clean who was who. Even at 4 months the male had no sign of the face thing.

If they have unproportionally big feet and beaks they are boys, if their feet a petit and their beaks match their head size you got girls.
