do they like to roam? i would be putting them in my chicken run until my duck pen is complete and my chickens free range every day
if i get a pair how many eggs should i have yearly?

My ones free range with chickens and they don't bother each other.
Muscovies only lay a clutch of 10-20 eggs and normally go broody and they are fantastic broodies and mothers. They may lay 2 or 3 clutches of eggs and that's it. You can give them goose or other ducks eggs to incubate.

when the females lay do they lay all at once or different days?

The hens would not necessary lay eggs on the same day or even the same week.

Life span is 10+ years; possibly even 20 years.
