Must haves for raising chickens

Hello! New chicken mom here (I’ve been seeing a lot of new chicken mom posts). I was wondering what everyone recommends having on hand for raising chickens (baby chicks and adults). Meds, supplies, treats, etc. I’m a prepper by nature and would rather have everything I need, when I need it.

Things I like to have on hand in general:
- Hibiclens
- NutriDrench
- electrolytes
- Neosporin (or something similar)
- cat carrier/dog crate/somewhere to separate chickens if needed
- old towels
- extra light bulbs for my brooder heat lamp

Things I like to have out at the coop (I built a little cupboard into my coop):
- scissors
- tweezers
- extra egg baskets (I often forget to bring them back out when I'm done)
- extra feeders/waterers
- mealworms
- a paint scraper (good for scraping dried poop off while cleaning)
- dog/cat nail clippers
- hand rake and dustpan

Hibiclens went out of business years ago for naughty dumping. I had no idea they were back up and running. Thanx for the heads up!

Really? I had no idea. I picked some up from Walmart a few months ago, so it seems they are back in business.

Make sure you get Neosporin or any other antibacterial with NO pain relief!
The pain relief ingredient is a big no-no for birds.

All those medications are good to have on hand for any flock emergencies, But after having chickens for a while, I might recommend some Diazepam (valium) for you, due to the anxiety caused by chickens! I'm kidding!
