I want to tell you all how wonderful these birds are! It's incredible to see some of the amazing things that can happen when mixing it up!

Thanks for sharing them, and I'd love to start some sort of catalog of what happens when you mix breed X with breed Y or Z- it would be a neat reference for breeding projects.

Hooray for all of your lovely birds and cheers for all of them!!!

Just a few days left!!! Anyone else want to enter a cross-breed chicken??? (Apr 17)

    **************************************************Update********************************************************
    (Apr 11)

Okay, I know everyone is being patient, but I'm super-sick and can barely think-

I will say it's nice to have wood floors so my 10 chicks can wander willy-nilly about my room and sleep on mama (me). I just make sure first poop is in the newspaper (cuz it's always the greaser!!) in the morning.

Bronchitis demands that the last day be the 19th, so there's another week to enter!

    Show us your cross-breeds!

    ****************************************************************************************************************
