Hello,
Very happy to be joining with all participants of this site. I look forward to hearing from everyone. Three weeks ago I received by mail fifteen beautiful little chicks. I lost two almost right away. But the rest of them are now 3 weeks old and I have all female and one male, I think. We've been raising them in our garage in the brooding box until today. They are getting so big already and love to fly. So we have moved them to their new home, a heated coop, with their warming lights. I can't believe how much they eat in a day, and they love warm water. Since tomorrow will be their first time waking up in their new home, I'm taking them some warm mash to wake up with.
I will soon have some pictures to share with everyone. I'm a city girl who now lives in the country and I've never had the opportunity to raise anything except puppies and kittens. So, if anyone has advice for me, bring it on.
