I have two Ameraucanas - one black, one blue. The brown chicks in the pictures are Welsummers - and they are easy to sex! Please ignore the Wellies - they like to get in the photos. My questions revolve around these Ameraucanas. I posted at 6 weeks, and it was suggested I post again when they got a bit older. They are now they are 10 weeks old. 1st: Black Ameraucana: Here he is now at 10 weeks (I am pretty convinced he is a boy - but would be delighted for you to argue with me): Here is what he looked like at 6 weeks: 2nd: Lefty, my Blue Ameraucana: Here she is now at 10 weeks (note the optimistic pronoun): Here is what she looked like at 6 weeks: Both Lefty and the black have more pink in their combs than my same-age Welsummer pullets, but not as much as my Wellie cockerel. Sorry the photos aren't great. I'd love your best guesses.
