I only managed to get 4 of them to calm down enough for photographs. I'm going to try with the other 4 a little later after they've eaten and are a little bit calmer.

Awww, they're sooo cute. I have a buff orp hen who was debeaked. She is the fattest bird I have. I just make sure her food and water are deep, and she loves treats.

Coco is beautiful.

My 12 are so flighty I can't get a pic of them Must be the age.... 4 weeks old also.... and it's looking like I have 8 roos out of the 12. ARGH!!! .

They're totally rambunctious right now. We built them a little practice chicken ladder so they have an interesting challenge in the brooder.

Coco is my little glamour-puss. I named her after Coco Chanel, and she's living up to her namesake. I'm really surprised that her color is as pretty as it is, because she's a hatchery chick. She's the chick in my icon too - always been the prettiest of the pretties.
