We have 2 chicks, about 6 wks old now. Tiki(gold brabanter_ wasn't doing great for awhile and is a runt, and still definitely smaller than Bellatrix(salmon favorelle).
We had them in the coop for awhile, but Tiki started doing worse so we put her back in the brooder in the house and babied her for nother week. She got stronger and grew, so we put her back out in the coop.
Bellatrix has accepted her again with no problem, except for trying to sit on Tiki.
I caught Tiki nudging her way under Bella last night, and Bella obliged...and sat on her.
normal? abnormal? my chick wants to be a mommy already???
