My 'Ameraucana'...

has five toes on each foot. I somehow just noticed this today, and am wondering if perhaps I was sent a Favaucana, which they also sell, by mistake...(yes, I feel silly.)
I know hatcheries often mislabel EEs as Ameraucanas, but this time it was supposed to be the real deal! I bought her from My Pet Chicken as a BBS Ameraucana, and she was banded upon arrival. She is my favorite chicken anyway, but I'm pretty bummed! Ideas on what she may actually be?

As far as breed.... Not quite sure on that. She probably is a Favaucana, even though that is the first time I've ever heard of one. She's adorable!

I can't explain the tow but I thought real Ameraucana had slate legs? Does she still lay blue eggs?

not old enough yet! She's just under 9 weeks old.

Looking like that, coming from a hatchery, and having 5 toes.. I'd say you're right.
