My Americauna is laying eggs. Is it a male or a female?

    Only females/hens lay eggs.

I can see it's gonna take some time for my sense of humor to be understood here.

It depends on how they taste after cooking. But that depends on how good the chef is.

Edited by me to add a Note for newbies: only Hens (which are all girls) lay eggs, Roosters (which are all boys) do not lay eggs.

A few weeks ago another person asked if roosters laid eggs. If a person has no experience with birds their questions should be answered without ridicule.

A visitor from New York was unable to see the difference between a duck and a chicken.

I thought a rooster who had survived a rabies infection could change genders and start laying eggs [IMG]
