My chicks I bought from Meyer Hatchery just shipped today at 1:01 pm! I am excited to say that they could arrive as soon as tomorrow! I also am thinking about names for the babies. That’s a very close batch to my flock (Easter Eggers, speckled Sussex, Wyandotte, barred rocks) I’m happy for you getting chicks is exciting! I do want to warn you on a few things- you may find that one of your chicks is dead but there is a slim chance because they are arriving so soon after they shipped. And you might get an extra! Good thing and a bad thing bc it might be male and it might be female... aside from that YAY! Chicks are so fun, and naming is fun! Here are my name choices-
GLW- Acorn, Sunshine, Buttercup
Speckled Sussex- Poppy, Daisy, Dottie
Easter Egger- Opal, Jellybean, Queen, Ghost (for a white one)
Green Queen- Nugget, Dandelion, Clover, Goldie (for a gold one)
