These are my eight babies that we hatched from eggs. The eggs came from my sons friend who has chickens. I have not seen the chickens that they came from but my son said that they are all different kinds and colors of chickens. Are all of my babies EE's ? We love them all and don't care what breed they are we are just curious. The black one is the only one that has a different type of comb from the rest. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I don't think any of them are EE. Were any of the eggs blue or green?

Chick #1 looks like a rock or leghorn
    #2 looks like a game
#3 looks like a game, probably mixed with something LF like a buff orpington
    #'s 4 & 5 look like a rocks or leghorns
#6 looks like a silver laced wyandotte
#'s 7 & 8 look like buff orpington, probably mixes (could be NHR)

You say that #6 is the only one with a different comb? So I assume all the others have straight combs? EE's usually (but not always) have pea combs, muffs, beards, green legs, or any combination. But they can look like just about anything [IMG]

ETA that #2 could also be a brown leghorn.
