My Baby Girl, One-Z, The one-legged Chicken

Alright,so I have a hen and she's 5 months old. Her name is One-Z and she has one leg (normal) and one leg coming out of her butt. She is doing great and is a very sweet soul.One problem though is she uses her left wing as a crutch and her feathers get very dirty. I've read articles about such things and they really don't have many solutions. I have not yet taken her to the doctor to get the foot removed. She is doing fine with releasing bowel movements and eats and drinks as such of a normal hen. I do not want to cause any infections with doing a removal of the foot so I just check it 2x a week.

. I had to move her today because the other hens were picking on her. I am going to move her from her cage and make a larger fence area. We rescued her from a friend who didn't want her. We took her cautiously and were very hopeful she wouldn't die. Please leave comments and PM me. It'll get to me faster!!

from West Virginia! Please post pics of One-Z. She sounds like a special chickie! I don't know that I'd have her operated on. If it's not bothering her, I'd leave it. But then again, it may cause problems later. I think it's great you rescued her!!!!
