Well, this morning as I went in to check on the babies before leaving for work, Robinhood crowed at me! Well, it was an attempt at a crow, anyway. He's 5 weeks old yesterday. Funny thing, his sounded more like a crow than my Bambi's crow attempts.. and Bambi is 7 weeks today!

    My babies are growing up!!

Newbie question: I've got 4 week old Australorps and Barred rocks. I ordered hens because of neighbors but when and how will I know if I have an accidental roo?

Quote:It may take a while, but I would suspect that if you had a boy, you would already see a redder comb and possibly some waddles
