I'm so happy and sad that my OEG baby's got a great home. A vet I use to work for took them yesterday. He has chickens and takes very good care of them. They free range in his pasture and sleep in the barn at night. He was excited to hear I had some and was thrilled to take them. He took 3 I had a year ago.....easter colored chicks that ended up being roos. I didn't even think about asking him about these but my friend told him and he called many times before I found my phone I was missing them this morning:-( I called and he said they are great. I can come visit them so that's great!! Now my NN and australorp are happy b/c I combined their cage with what I had the roos in. They living it up with more room and loving it. Between this forum and local people, we're about 50/50 on the NN being a roo but we're waiting for a crow before we build a seperate pen.
