My Bantams layed their first little eggs

Last January I went to the swap and came home with 6 cute bantams. One didn't make it and the rest have been thriving - they hatched 1/5/2010 So I am not sure who but someone layed and egg yesterday and today is a different shaped egg - a little wider than the egg layed yesterday and small - so someone is laying some eggs. YEAH!!!! My standard size chickens like to go into the bantam coop and lay an egg in their nest box so I guess the bantams decided to start showing the big girls they can lay some eggs too!

That is so exciting! I have a couple of bantam cochins that were hatched in January, so this gives me great hope that they will start laying soon
