These ladies are now a year old. As I said before I am new to this and when I bought them they were pullets. I waited and waited for what was said to be silver laced wyandottes to put there pretty dresses on and they never did. What are they?

I wondered because they don't have that clear lacing. It is more speckled. The pictures I always see are these large silver and black lacing that is well defined. Thank you

The less than stellar lacing is simply cause they're hatchery quality, sorry. You don't always get the pretty crisp coloring with hatchery birds.

Gosh, that is quite alright. I think my ladies are great and beautiful. Thanks for clearing that up. It does explain it.
