    Hi guys,

I gave a dozen of my chickens' fertile eggs to a kindergarten teacher who incubated them with her class. 7 of 12 hatched. This is pretty good considering the fluctuating temperature issues of the incubator.

These chicks are half australorp and come from easter egger, red sex-link and black sex-link hens. I am hoping I'll get some good layers out of this group.

I think the most interesting thing about them is that their adult feathers seem to be black, white and brown. Look how pretty my babies are!

That's one of my favorite things about chickens, watching what they turn into. That sure is a pretty combination!

Thanks guys! I am very excited to see how they feather out. I am hoping they'll be good layers too. With their breed combinations, I would hope so!
