Hi guys, I gave a dozen of my chickens' fertile eggs to a kindergarten teacher who incubated them with her class. 7 of 12 hatched. This is pretty good considering the fluctuating temperature issues of the incubator. These chicks are half australorp and come from easter egger, red sex-link and black sex-link hens. I am hoping I'll get some good layers out of this group. I think the most interesting thing about them is that their adult feathers seem to be black, white and brown. Look how pretty my babies are!
