My birds won't leave the coop

So I picked my new and only chickens up the other day. They were hatched on July 1st and I had them in coop a while and now when I open door they don't want to come out. Seems like they are having a blast kicking around in the coop though. Who needs tv when you have a hen house

Give them time they will nose around and eventually come out. Your next post will read ''how to keep chickens out of the neighbors yard" HA! Right now that is where they feel safe
