    They're beautiful! Thanks for posting... I'm planning on raising a few this spring, along with some Midget Whites. Come on spring!

    What's really funny is how long that snoody thing gets when Jake's all relaxed and happy.

    I have never been around non-production turkeys before and I just LOVE them.

    They're just fun to have.

    I never won't have them now.

    I just traded this weekend, a few hens for some future BR turkey eggs. I have between now and spring to get good enough to hatch some.

    Hatching is still my bugaboo but it's so much cheaper and easier to get eggs than poults!

    So yeah, I'm trying eggs again next year as well, BRs and midget whites just for fun.

    Even porters turkeys sells eggs, in a ton of colors. Always a nasty temptation. Sweetgrass are gorgeous.
