This is my mystery chick, its supposed to be a show girl, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but the little thing has feathers on its neck? Either way i love it

This is my BABY!!! The only egg right from my coop, a Roopert Nugget baby and the very first to hatch!

Not all Showgirl chicks get the naked neck gene. If it doesn't have that gene it is simply a Silkie. Just as when breeding frizzles..not all offspring get the frizzle gene.

Woot! The mystery has been solved! Either way its so stinking adorable!!!
I peep for them to come out of the brooder, and she and my roopert nugget baby are always the very first to shoot out and rush to my hand
