    What is Oreo?

The nosey chick looks like his brother and sister in our coop.
    Curious little creatures.

Thanks.. I love that nosey little pullet. I have two more just like her and all three of them and the two cockerels that are in the nursery with them are sooo curious. It's adorable how they come running when they see me coming to the coop. They love attention.

Oreo is an Easter Egger rooster. The color pattern is commonly known as duckwing, altho not perfect he's a handsome boy and takes good care of his girls.

Beautiful birds, Jody!!! I especially love your Orps. I'm working on Blues right now, but hope to start on some of the beautiful varieties they have in England. Too bad we can't import some birds to get started!!!

Can't wait to see your Araucanas.

Thanks! The orps are by far our favorites. I love the size and personality on them. All around, they are just a wonderful breed.

Cyn, Slate is a girl. LOL She looks really pathetic with her late moult, but she is a gorgeous blue with gold on her head and neck typically.

Oops, that's another pic of Oreo! I see Slate now, poor thing. I'd take a pitiful pic of my Lexie so you could see that your Slate looks like a cover girl compared to her, but she refuses to allow it, LOL!
