My broody hen on day three of being on her eggs.

Hi everyone. My question is this. I have a silkie mama who's been on two eggs for three days and my husbands boss gave us 6 to put under her. She took them and tucked them
Under her. So what I am wondering is will she abandon her own two eggs if the bosses eggs hatch before hers...

Eggs take 21 days to hatch. The first 2 eggs will hatch first. Then the other 6 your boss gave you. Your Silkie might stay on them long enough, a lot of mine sit on the nest for a few days after their chicks hatch. Having food and water close by might help her stay put. Best to have a back up plan just in case though. If you don't have an incubator, you may want to acquire one or take the risk.
