    Broody hens ?
    My best Broody hen had to be Bertha as she sat on her chicks for 18 whole weeks to the point of being extremely funny as the chicks were getting as big as she was. She would herd them into a pile in the corner of the coop and desperately try to ballance on top of the ever growing pile of chicken fluff!





    They did finally escape

    Your hen is setting in a crate.........how does she get out to eat and drink? Im thinking she can probably jump over, but what about the chicks when they hatch? sorry, I have no pics to post yet [​IMG] but keep us posted[​IMG]

    It is a glitch in the system and although I can see my post you guys can't so I am trying to Quote it to see if it comes up but I doubt it will - if you guys press quote on the original post you can/should see it anyhow apparently??? It is just one of those things I guess with the new site.

    she got out and the chicks did to how idk but all is well in chicken land aslo check out my viode soryy for voice a lil under the weather
