My Broody silkie!

Hello I have a broody silkie and I am setting eggs under her on the 2nd of March and I was wondering if anyone else is hatching on that date or near that date here is a pic of her:

Believe it or not I bought 4 chicks for mine because she was so determined and she's been the best first time mom!

She was just sitting on the nest for a week with no eggs. She looks just like yours also.

Haha yes I am going to let her hatch some chicks did she accept the babies?

Yes, I had them inside for a couple of days to make sure.

My other hen was killed by a hawk 2 weeks ago, and my rooster was pouting for days!

I put mom and babies with him on Sunday and they are one big happy family!

I think mine has gone broody. I'm not sure though. She has laid an egg 5 days in a row now, which isn't normal. She's been putting her butt up in the egg and fluffing up. My other girls are down in the run and she is up in the coop. Today when I opened the coop up she was doing all of that with an egg near her (not under her) and she screamed every time I tried to touch her.
