My cat Kills everything

The title pretty much sums it up. He just kills stuff for the fun of it and last night he finally must have figured out how to get past the fence to the chickens. I can't belive this maniac killed the Plymouth Rock as big as it was but he's killed rabbits bigger then him before. OF COURSE it was my favorite of the 6 chickens i have.

Anyway, I was wondering if something larger in the run might be in order that could possibly intimidate the cat. Maybe a turkey?? It's a shame once the birds got full sized i thought there were safe, but here the cat must have been waiting for them to get fat.

A goose, my geese hate my cats (and dog). And I think they feel the same about the geese! It only took once for them to figure out they didn't like 6 angry geese on their tails

you wouldn't need 6- maybe just 2. Turkeys are great as well- mine had the best personalities, though they were never to particularly bothered by my cats/dog or anything else that's tried to get my chickens
