My chick is tick tocking!

no kidding! She is my absolute favorite rir chick. and absolutely georgous. She eats and drinks, but is a bit of a loner. Her name is Isis. Sounds normal right?

Nope.
She ticks. As in a clock sound. Tick, tock, tick, tock! It isn't her heart as I can clearly hear Isis tick tocking...

Do I sound crazy? What is wrong with Isis?

I bet she ticks when she exhales? If so she has a ruptured air sac...

do you have them on paper towels all this time or were they on shavings... I always keep my chickies on papertowels because in addition to the practicalities (slipping and being able to replace several times a day) having them on shavings when so young often leads to them ingesting it...a very sharp piece would cuase a puncture. It will often heal by itself but do keep an eye on the chick.
