A few weeks ago I noticed my hen laying down a lot. When I approached her, she wouldn't get up. I tried to help her stand but she couldn't. Now she can stand up but she can't walk and her balance is terrible. You can't barely touch her and she almost falls over.
However her appetite is good. She is eating and drinking well and her color in her comb is good too.
I also checked her feet and they look healthy.
If anyone has any ideas as to what may be wrong or something else I can try, it would be much appreciated.
    Thank you!

check her for canker. that happened to 4 of my chickens. I gave them flagyl and vibramycin, 1 got better, 2 are getting better and 1 still cannot walk but put some weight on and started to get up. it has been about 10 days now. they even layed a few eggs.

Try feeding her egg, and applesauce with bits of garlic....
If she has some kind of fungus, this may be helpful...
When they are sick they get very weak and can't walk very well if at all...
I'd put her in a cage with some warm towels, or blanket, or something soft
that you don't care if it gets dirty... with water and food
Put mother's vinegar in her water....
poly vi sol without iron is always helpful....
and a stuffed animal for company... =)

    Hope this helps..!

How old is she? Has she been laying eggs recently? What do her droppings look like? Is there any swelling in her leg joints? Internal laying or egg yolk peritonitis can cause problems walking. You may want to put some vitamins and minerals in her feed for a bit to see if it makes a difference. Here is some info on egg peritonitis:
