My Chicken coop made out of lumber leftovers **PICS**

    This is my new coop. Its nothing fancy but it didnt cost me anything....its nice that my sisters bf builds them for a living. he used the left over materials that he had so i didnt have to pay for it. I attatched it to a dog run. I will also post pics of some of the work of CUSTOM CHICKEN COOPS AND MORE!!!!!!! I really like my new coop and so do the birdies.

    Cool. Only suggestion is turning your 2x4's flat so the chickens can sit on them. I need to build a coop for my open air pen and really like the wood here. Good job!

    its a 6 ft by 8 ft with 7 nest boxes and has a egg door for easy removal of eggs. it sells for $1235 and attached to it is a a run that is 3 ft high, 4 ft wide and 7 ft long and sells for $427


    they are all made out of quality amish hemlock and are built to last a lifetime.

    Recycled is the way to go. Mu hubby got most of our "rebuilt coop" thread plywood from his business neighbor. Ir was from crates and would have gone to the dump and nice and useable...

    Nice! I agree the roosts need to be turned over...The birds sit flat on their feet not gripped like parrots. They are standard size yes? If so turn the roosts with the wide side up for them. [​IMG]
