My chicken gaurd dog.

She is 7 weeks old and she apparently loves the taste of cat dropping.

As some of you may know I have 30 cats.
That's a lot of snacking every day for her!

PLEASE tell me what I can do to stop this while she is young!

I dont want to get rid of her but I will if this dont stop!

I knew before I finished reading your post it was girl dog. You can cage the cat box away from the dog, but if the cats go outside your are outta luck. Female dogs eat cat poop. It's a fact of like.

there's something you can add to the cat food to make it taste bad *gag* but really, it's what dogs do.

I misread this and thought it was about a chicken who acts like a guard dog. Chicken eating cat poop is nasty, too. But cat poop has a ton of protein, so it's understandable either way.

We call them 'chocolate truffles' at our house. Both of our dogs (a male and a female) will eat the cat poop. We only have two cats, but the dogs still seem to find a constant supply. We've trained our dogs to understand the 'leave it' command, so we can stop them when we see them do it, but I'm positive that they eat plenty when we aren't looking. I'm not aware of anything that can be done to stop them. Sorry...
