my chicken has a red swollen thing between its legs

My chicken is an adult, laid eggs, she has a large swollen lump between her legs, below her back hole. She acts normal, eats well but I notice its getting big and she can't walk very well now. If you know anything that I can give her, I would appreciate it. I tried to attach an image but I couldn't. Please help. OH i forgot to say that I'm quite sure she is not egg bound. I massaged her, felt it but didn't feel an egg.

Could she be eggbound, perhapse? Maybe the lump is the egg stuck inside her.

I would initially say eggbound too...or maybe a mass of some sort....keep a close eye on her..

Is the mass in her, or are you seeing it on the outside??

the mass is protruding outside. It looks like something is swelling inside. Thanks
