My chicken has canker...it's pretty obvious but the Vet says antibiotics are forbidden in chickens

Canker is one of the diseases I would cull for in my chickens, since it can affect the whole flock. The state vet lab can do a necropsy and tell you exactly what is wrong. That is a personal choice, but I would at least get a necropsy if she doesn’t recover. If you chose to do one here is the list of labs including Indiana.

I will probably take her to be euthanized tomorrow..she has suffered enough..the meds are taking forever to get here and the vet gave her the wrong meds to begin with....the new medicine won't be here til Saturday. I think she was too advanced by the time I realized she had it or it's growing fast, not sure.
Today I was feeding her and it caused her to bleed, so she's suffered enough.
I can't afford over $100 for an necropsy plus shipping...I've paid $200 so far already. And it will cost me $100 to euthanize her. A scraping is $70 plus the $100...they give you no breaks for them being chickens, like a country vet will do.
