My chickens aren't eating much and losing their feathers

My 3 Hens aren't eating much and losing their feathers and it 30 degrees outside..should I be concerned?

It sounds like there might be cause for some concern... Are they in a well ventilated coop? Have you changed food you are using? Do they refuse "treats" as well as, pellets? A molt this time of year is not unusual. Do they seem okay otherwise?

from Ohio. If their feathers continue falling out, they could be just going into a molt. Give them a higher protein feed. It helps to get their feathers growing back faster. Good luck.
