Recently, I noticed my lead hen Potatos foot is a reddish pink on the bottom and a little on the sides of her toes but not under the toes. She's been normal, eating drinking... Etc. She doesn't act weird with her one foot that is like that. She doesn't care if I touch it and is not sensitive in anyway near the area. I was wondering what this is and is it harmful?

Have you looked very closely at the 'bottom' of that foot? Could be you've caught the very early signs of bumblefoot...just thinkin'

Sorry to make a big deal of the situation, but turns out she stepped on a wet purple cabbage and part of the color rubbed off onto her to make the reddish color. I used a hose and got off the cabbage coloring, but there still is a tiny spot which looks like a scab on her left foot. I'll keep an eye on it

Well that is so funny to realise that she stepped onto a wet purple cabbage...such a relief..BUT do watch out for the tiny spot on her foot...she may have a small injury which can result in bumblefoot..is the scab black or dark brown ? If so...you need to treat for a potential bumblefoot infection...sometimes an incident such as her stepping on a purple cabbage can give us an opportunity to examine then more thoroughly.

I'm not sure @Suzie does it matter??i think it might've been dark brown with a little bit of a tinted color of some sort but I'm not sure

I'm not sure but did u try washing it off? It might be something like what my hen did, stepping on a color thing. Is she okay though?? Like is she acting weird? U should probably create your own thread if u already hadn't to get more answers, anyway I hope ur hen will be okay @anthony2014

Just keep a keen eye on the dark mark,,if the skin is raised where the mark is it may well be a bumblefoot infection..this will need treating...any tenderness if you put pressure on the dark mark? She would normally withdraw her foot if it is painful.
