What on earth am I doing wrong? They 2-3 month old are in a coop with the momma hen and her babies that are about 3-4 weeks now. They roost. There is 3 roost in this coop. Plenty of room for everyone. They still are on the floor. I am out there every evening putting them over and over on the roost. Will they ever stay?
I hatched out a baby pheasant 3 days ago..all it want to do is eat flies that fall into it's water. I have never seen anything like this. I have game bird starter feed and fresh water in there. He will not touch it. I was told not to give him flies, and I haven't, wouldn't it be better for him to eat a fly than nothing at all? Seriously why won't he eat his food? I don't want him/her to die. Can anyone give me a solution to what is going on?
