    Thank you i called the place i got it the lady said it could be a hen she said some hens are like that aslo it doesnt make noise all day just in the morning she said if it doesnt lay to bring it back im not aloud to have a rooster in my area

    yep it's a boy - maybe you could get a pullet at "point of lay", rather than worry that the next bird will end up a rooster too.
