Picture of # 4 is an Easter Egger pullet. An EE is a bird derived from blue egg laying stock that may or may not carry the blue egg gene - she may lay eggs that are not blue/green.

What does a pullet mean? Sorry I'm new to chicken raising. I hope she lays blue/green eggs because that's what we bought her for but we will still love her either way.

A pullet is a young female chicken generally less than a year old. A cockerel is a young male chicken generally less than a year old. Your chickens look to be in excellent condition - well done!

Thank you sourland! My family is really proud of them considering we had no background in raising chickens
