My Chicks Almost Died!!!!!

    Well,we had a really wicked hail storm today for like twenty minutes,then I go outside to see how they are.And they they were,they all looked like they just got beaten up by a shovel,and I don't know what this is,but it looks like their heart just exploded in their body.Their all ok and running aroung now,but does anyone know what this thing that they get on their body is????I have no idea,I felt so terrible [​IMG]

    Are you talking about their crop maybe? [​IMG] If its full, it may seem like that to you.

    sounds like a full crop. is it a ball like shape on their chest? probably never noticed it before but was easier to see once they got wet. The crop is where the food goes before moving on to the rest of the "stomach"
